the comfortable since 2005.
Straight from the mean streets of da' Boogie Down Bronx, the People's Republic of Brooklyn, and Massapequa (wherever the hell that is), we couldn't rock anymore if we tried. Like those little sucky candies you liked so much as a kid - sweet and hard is what Diabolique is all about. Pascale founded the group Diabolique in 2005. Described by reviewers as "smart, passionate and brutally intimate," they have created a new template for female-fronted rock bands by adding a multi-cultural and multi-influenced twist to their music. On their debut cd Uses of Disorder, Diabolique unleashes a flurry of hypnotic grooves and buzz-saw guitars, combining the haunting lyricism of The Velvet Undergound with the sexy swagger of The Pretenders. On drums: Dave "The Animal" Higgins. He hits it hard, he hits it with rhythm, he hits it when you aren't looking. And he's a damn fine drummer! Dave enjoys the finer things, vintage wines, Ferraris, and those really classy escorts (the one's that are like a grand an hour). When not behind the kit, Dave is probably with Brian offering another drink to your girlfriend. On bass: Brian "love 'em and leave 'em" Tulley. Slappin' that bass like it owes him money, Brian was living in the Lower East Side back when you closed your eyes at the Delancey stop. Sure, he likes his women quiet and he's sure as shit not going to bother talking to you, but he really is the sweetest of the bunch. Just don't ask him to his face. On the mike & guitar: Back in ye olden days when girls didn't play guitars, Pascale started taking lessons from a high school classmate who charged $5.00 and a case of strawberry wine coolers for her trouble. Many lessons and wine coolers later, she still couldn't figure out the intro to Van Halen's "Eruption," but armed with three chords and some rants scrawled on a Dunkin Donuts napkin, she was ready to start her own rock n'roll nightmare. Pascale is the creative force, the originator, the Gin to the guys Tonic. Struggling to maintain her grip on an enterprise quickly spiraling out of her control, Pascale knows you and doesn't trust you. 'Cause deep inside, you, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, hell, maybe both, you're idiots. Just admit it. Songs
